DESCRIPTION:We will be at the Commission of Higher Education event\, College and Career Decision Day\, for the third straight year. The event is located on the Statehouse Lawn in Columbia\, SC and will feature the SC Superintendent of Education\, Ellen Weaver\, and Governor McMaster is scheduled to appear along with hundreds of high school seniors from throughout South Carolina. We will have a table and 2024 Bridge Builder Excellence Award winner Josiah Thompson of Dillon High School and the University of South Carolina is scheduled to attend and give a short message of encouragement to his peers and students from all over the state of South Carolina.

Green)\, the 2025 Humanitarian of the Year (Emily Beamer)\, and the 2025 Blanchard-Rogers Trophy winner (SC Heisman\, Clemson LB Sammy Brown). \nPre-event entertainment includes talented musician Andy Jones from 5-7pm\, a silent auction\, and a Happy Hour. \nProceeds from this event goes to support the SCFHOF’s Bridge Builder Excellence Program and #SCTop10N2030 Movement\, which provides programming focused on character\, leadership\, and resiliency standards to South Carolina students of all ages.  We educate\, recognize\, and celebrate excellence to help lead South Carolina students to the Top 10 nationally in college and career readiness by December 31\, 2030.
