Nomination Deadline February 16, 2026
Please fill out the below form to nominate a South Carolina high school football student-athlete for the 2026 Bridge Builder Excellence Award (BBEA). Choose up to two football student-athlete nominees per school who represent their accomplishments during the 2025-2026 academic year. Please fill out a separate form for each nominee. Thank you.
Nomination Criteria:
Nominees must have a 3.2 Core GPA or higher.
They must demonstrate excellence and leadership on the football field and within their community.
We seek high school football players (regardless of year) who have received one or a combination of the following: All-State recognitions, Senior All-Star game invites, and/or recruitment to play college football. Those who played in the fall but early enrolled at a college can be nominated.
Community involvement is required for consideration, such as non-profit work, reading to elementary school children, and other community-enhancing projects.

Nominations are accepted until February 16, 2026.
From the nominations, 10 semi-finalists will be selected for interviews.
At least 3 finalists (one from the Upstate, Midlands, and Low Country) will be invited to attend the 13th Annual Enshrinement Ceremony in Greenville, SC, on April 16, 2026, at Hotel Hartness.
A winner will be awarded at the ceremony, with scholarship(s) presented at that time.
Finalists must attend the ceremony to be eligible for the award.
All nominees submitted will be invited to join us for an all-day BBEA26Day Celebration on May 8, 2026 to receive their Certificate of Excellence at the SC Public Charter School District building in Columbia, SC. More information on this event will follow.
