Mike Brown and Bruce Arians

Mike Brown was born in High Point, NC, grew up in Raleigh, and graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. At Clemson, Mike was a student trainer under Fred Hoover, where he supported the baseball, basketball, and football teams. After graduating from Clemson, Mike spent time at the University of Florida working with the football team as a mentor and tutor.

For many years, Mike worked in the manufacturing, aerospace, and defense industries. Years later, after a call and suggestion from his friend Dwight Clark, he began representing NFL players, and then, NFL and college football coaches full-time. Some of his most notable clients included Bruce Arians, Mike Mularkey, Chris Petersen, Rich Rodriguez and Dabo Swinney.

Brown was a pioneer in the art of football negotiations, and he made a significant impact in his community through nonprofit work. Among Brown’s charitable contributions were his assistance in creating Dabo’s All-In Team Foundation with Coach Swinney, the Arians Family Foundation, and working closely with Kathleen Swinney to raise money for breast cancer research.
