Deshaun Watson is a sophomore quarterback at Clemson University from Gainesville, Georgia. He was born on September 14, 1995, and he began his Clemson career in 2014. Watson received offers from several different schools including Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, LSU, and Georgia. At the end of his sophomore year at Clemson, Watson has totaled over 6,000 yards and 66 touchdowns. In 2015, Watson led the Clemson Tigers to the national championship game, and finished the season with a 14-1 record.
Deshaun Watson is the first college football player to ever throw for over 4,000 yards, and rush for over 1,000 yards in a single season. Deshaun was one of three Heisman finalists, and won several awards including the Manning Award, the Davey O’Brien Award and he was voted ACC Player of the Year. In 2014, he received All-ACC Academic honors, and he is on track to graduate in December 2016.

Deshaun Watson is from Gainesville, Georgia. This will be the second consecutive year Watson has received the organization’s award for most outstanding South Carolina college football player.
In the 2016 season, Deshaun Watson led his team to a 14-1 record and victories in the ACC Championship, the Fiesta Bowl, and brings the National Championship back to the State of South Carolina. He completed 67% of his passes with 4,593 yards, 41 passing touchdowns, 629 yards rushing and 9 rushing touchdowns.
He finished second in the Heisman Trophy voting and won the Davey O’Brien Award for the best college quarterback in the country for the second consecutive year. Deshaun Watson finished his college degree in three years and graduated in December 2016. He was drafted on Thursday, April 27, 2017 as the 12th pick of the 1st round by the Houston Texans. In September 2020, Deshaun would sign a 4 year $160 million extension with the Houston Texans and release his first book “Pass it On.”
